Why We Built This Site
Indiana generally permits public access to court records under its Rules on Access to Court Records, yet locating the custodian can still be difficult. Indiana MyCase publishes eligible CCS information. The Madison County Clerk maintains Circuit Court filings and supplies copies. Trial judges set hearings and enter orders. Anderson and Elwood City Courts administer their own local matters. The purpose is to place verified search routes, case-number guidance, and record-request steps in a clear local context.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket explanations: how Madison County criminal and civil CCS entries are found and read
- Dates and settings: how the Indiana Court Calendar and latest CCS help confirm a hearing
- Case lookups: how MyCase searches by number, name, or attorney
- Record requests: how ordinary and certified copies are requested from the Madison County Clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to an Indiana court, the Madison County Clerk, or any government agency. Its limits are important:
- It cannot retrieve an official CCS or case file for a visitor
- It cannot move, cancel, or reset a Madison County hearing
- It cannot seal, remove, correct, or amend a court record
- It cannot certify an order, docket, or filed document
- It does not provide legal advice about a particular case
- It cannot promise that a fee, contact, or setting has not changed
An official or certified record must come from the clerk or court that holds the original Madison County case file.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain search tools operated by outside providers. Each provider controls its own results, terms, availability, and charges. A paid signup reached through such a tool may produce a referral fee. That support helps make the reference material available, but it does not give this resource control over a partner's data or service.
